A graduate of Buffalo Grove High School in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Georgette Topalis stood out as an honor roll student who starred for four years on the varsity soccer and basketball teams. She earned numerous accolades over the course of her high school career, including being named the Chicago Tribune Northwest Athlete of the Year in 2017 and the Mid-Suburban League East Division Soccer Player of the Year on two occasions. Georgette Topalis also received multiple Player of the Week honors as a basketball player from the Daily Herald.
Georgette Topalis builds upon this accomplished background as a student-athlete at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. A psychology major, she balances her athletic efforts as a collegiate soccer player with a commitment to academics that has earned her several honors, including selection to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team of Excellence. She also stands out as an active member of the Winona State community who has served as a volunteer for events such as the university’s Game Day Experience.
